If you want your reach and impressions to explode on Facebook and Instagram, don’t skip these three REELs!

Putting yourself out there can be challenging! If you’ve gone through the 10-Day Growth Challenge, we say, “leverage media that gets numbers!” In other words, REELs and TikTok are great ways to reach more potential listeners – organically. Organic reach means you don’t have to boost your post or put ad dollars behind it. You can create one video to go on Instagram REELs, Facebook REELs, and TikTok! And the prompts below are a place to start.

Three REELs (TikToks) To Make For Every Episode

ONE | Hot Quote

Share a hot quote from your new episode.

What better way to get your audience to tune in than by sharing a spicy/compelling/heart jolting quote from your episode or interview? The right quote will generate engagement and help you build your social following.

TWO | The Episode WHY

Share a personal story about why you created the episode or interviewed your guest.

Give the WHY behind the episode. You don’t need to give away the meat of the episode, just share why the content will be helpful to your listener.

THREE | Call It Out

Call out a problem your target audience is experiencing and how the episode can help.

Speak directly about a problem/challenge your ideal listener is struggling through and how the episode can help. Don’t give away the solution, encourage them to listen to learn more.

Add at the end of each video:

Each video should tell people where to find your podcast!

While this seems like a, “duh!” you’d be surprised how many REELs and TikToks have missed opportunities. So, make sure you add a branded call to action at the end of each video telling people that name of your podcast and where to find it. When you use one of the prompts above, make sure you mention the title of the episode or the guest to make it easy for listeners to know which episode to select. Remember, someone might come across your REEL or TikTok weeks or months later. Check out our REEL templates here – you’ll see a branded end card you can adjust with your podcast information and brand colors.

Quick REEL/TikTok Eval

Here are a few quick tips to make sure all of your REELs and TikToks do their job across platforms.

  1. Do my REELS teach, entertain, challenge, or validate my audience?

  2. Is my REEL a video clip from an episode recording? Did I include subtitles (they are vital)?

  3. Am I creating a quick teaser for episodes with a high-impact message?

  4. Am I sharing REELS on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube shorts?

  5. Do I have a clear and branded CTA at the end telling people where they can listen to my podcast?
